Payprweight collects and processes the following personal information about you:

  • Name and contact information – We collect this information directly from you when you use our Services, complete a contact form, request marketing communications, and/or contact us;  

  • Professional or employment-related information, including compensation information – We collect this information directly from you, from our related companies, or from social networks and other technology providers; 

  • Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information – We collect this information directly from you, in the course of telephone or video calls; and

  • Internet or other electronic network activity information – We collect this information from the devices you use to connect to our Website or platform, through the use of cookies and other internet tracking mechanisms.  

Use of Your Personal Information

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with Services you requested;

  • To send you Service-related communications;

  • To inform you about new Services or offers; and

  • For related Business Purposes, such as operating our Website and supporting internal business processes.  

Sharing or Selling Personal Information

We may share any personal information collected from you with our partners (such as the Public Affairs Council) or other third parties with whom we jointly offer related services or whose services we have integrated with our Website and Services.  We have done this within the last 12 months.  This may be considered “selling” or “sharing” under laws in California and other states.

Disclosing Personal Information

We may disclose any personal information we collect to third party service providers supporting our operations, such as cloud services, website analytics, and identity management providers.  If we share information with a service provider, that information is limited to data relevant to such provider’s services.

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information to relevant authorities to comply with legal obligations, judicial proceedings, court orders, or other legal processes, and when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights (including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights).

Automated Decision Making and Profiling

Payprweight may use proprietary Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) technology to assist in certain aspects of our Services, but we will not make any decisions based solely on automated processing of your personal information. Payprweight does not use AI for profiling or in any decision-making with potential to produce legal or other significant impacts.  Decisions concerning our Services and data processing protocols are made by authorized personnel.  Our goal is to ensure your rights and interests are protected, and that you are not subject to decisions made without human involvement.

Your Data Privacy Rights

Privacy laws in Virginia, California, and other states provide specific rights for individual consumers.  Where applicable, Payprweight will honor these privacy rights, depending on the state in which you reside:

  • Right to know and access your personal data: You may have the right to request that we disclose: (i) the categories of personal information we have collected about you; (ii) the sources from which we collected the personal information; (iii) the business or commercial purpose for the collection, selling or sharing of personal information; (iv) the categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information; (v) the categories of personal information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose; and (vi) the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

  • Right to correct: You may have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information about you, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of processing the personal information.

  • Right to delete: You may have the right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions and limitations.  For example, we may not be able to delete information necessary to comply with our legal obligations, fulfill the terms of our agreements with you, or enable internal uses that are aligned with the reasonable expectations of Payprweight customers.

  • Right to opt-out: You may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, the use of your personal information for targeted advertising, and the use of your personal information for profiling.  

  • Right of data portability: You may have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable and readily usable format that allows you to transmit the data to another controller without impediment, subject to certain limitations. 

  • Right to non-discrimination or retaliation: We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

  • Right to limit: We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in California Consumer Privacy Act Regulations, section 7027, subsection (m), so there is no reason to exercise a "Right to Limit" under California law.

Exercising Your Data Privacy Rights

You may submit a request to exercise your personal data privacy rights by contacting us at privacy @payprweight.com.  To verify your request, you may need to provide proof of identity, such as non-personal information about your account.  You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request.  The agent will follow the same procedures described above.  If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof that the agent acts on your behalf.  

We will respond to your data subject request as required under applicable law.  In the event we decline your request, partially or fully, you may appeal the decision to our senior management.  To appeal, simply follow the same process for submitting a request and include "Appeal" in the title or other part of the request.  If the appeal is denied, you may contact the privacy regulator in your state (we will provide specific contact information in our response to your appeal).

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We may use “cookies” to improve performance, load-time, and personalization of our Website.  Cookies are small files placed by our website on your computer’s browser to store your preferences.  You can set your browser to notify you about cookies before accepting them.  You can also set your browser to refuse cookies.  You do not need to have cookies turned on to visit our website.

Protecting Your Personal Information

Payprweight takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure through the deployment of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.  However, please note that no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.  As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Retaining Your Personal Information

Payprweight will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, consistent with applicable law.  This retention period allows us to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and analyze customer data as part of our own research.  We will not retain your information for longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it is being processed.

Children’s Data

Our site and programs are not intended for children under the age of 18.  We do not knowingly collect, process, sell, or share the personal information of children and have no knowledge that we have done so in the last 12 months.  If we learn we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately.
